The MAC 50 Moisture analyzer is a thermogravimetric device used for the determination of moisture content in sample types where loss on drying can be employed.
Equipped with either LCD or graphic display, the MAC 50 can be set up, and operational in minutes.
At the initial stage of measurement, the device precisely determines the mass of the object placed on its weighing pan. The sqample is then heated and weighed simultaneously with halogen or IR lamps, which causes evaporation of moisture from the sample. While heating, the moisture analyzer continuously checks the decline of mass, and compares the rate of loss to factory set parameters.
The MOISTURE MAC 50 is an affordable, and full featured analytical device, that can be accurately used to determne moisture content in all types of coffee, including green and roasted.
